Founders statement

Our Indonesian journey started 30 years ago with a work assignment in Surabaya and since then there has always been a family and work connection with the city.

Many children are born into an underprivileged environment, and the foundation’s first steps are small with the aim of providing shelter, food, health care, and education for 12 boys. The ambitions , however, are much larger, and we look to open a much larger facility for 200 boys and girls with full schooling and nation class care to provide them a strong chance in society. Help us in the journey by supporting one of our campaigns.

Role

Background
Raised in Jati Rogo, Tuban, East Java
Focus
Children's welfare, daily care, and local connection

Raised in the small, rural town of Jati Rogo in the city of Tuban, she vividly remembers having to walk kilometres for water and fire wood to help support her single mother. The struggles of having 0 resources were very real to her; with no transport too, she had to walk the 4km to school daily. She doesn't want this to happen again, and works to streamline the 'Yayasan' so no children here have to experience this.
